Here at La Lanterna, there's only one thing we want for Christmas - you to join us! We're especially delighted to announce that for the very first year, we will be open on Sundays from December in the run up to Christmas.

Our head chef Luca is in print! Scotcampus Magazine popped into La Lanterna to chat with our Head Chef, Luca Conreno to find out more about our rich history, Italian culture, becoming a chef, and how to cook simply sumptuous food. Not to mention he reveals his favourite ever dish on the menu!

This year we invested £250k, with support from the Bank of Scotland, at our Hope Street premises on our stunning restaurant refurbishment, the first time the restaurant has been renovated since its opening.

At La Lanterna, we pride ourselves on serving up traditional, authentic Italian food every day, year on year. We strive to bring a little bit of the real Italia to Glasgow (however dreich the weather decides it’s going to be in Scotland).
